Solstice looks amazing! Making a graphic novel is such a tremendous task. All the best with it, hope I can support you through the ups and downs. Looks like you’re doing some really good work.

The inks you have shared so far are equally beautiful and captivating. I cannot wait until the final product is released. I know that you have mentioned that you will be colouring the pages, but is it at all possible to also release a purely black and white version? I find the rawness of your pen marks on the white pages to be stunning in its simplicity.
Best of luck with reaching your goal.

Thank you! That makes me so happy to hear- I have a big smile on my face right now! Yes, before creating the actual art I was planning to color them but have now decided against it. I agree, I like black and white better! Thanks again for your kind words.

Hello! I just recently got this book! It is lovely! I am super happy to have it. I just got it as a gift because I am going to be working full time as a librarian with Teen Services. I am going to share this book with the teens and see what they think and perhaps we can get one to add to the collection at my library. Now that I have it and have read it I have two questions: One, do you ever do author visits and Two, is there going to be a sequel? Thank you!

Hi! Thank you so much for the thoughtful message. It makes me so happy to hear that you’ll be sharing my book with other teens. I’d love to visit your library, but I will be a bit busy with college in the next few months. Where is your library located? Depending on the location I can try to stop by sometime. And as for a sequel, I originally intended for Solstice to be a solo book, but now I’m considering the possibility of a second. As of this moment though, I’m undecided. Thank you again for visiting my blog. It means a lot to me!

Yes! Keep up the amazing work! I understand about college that is a big commitment! My library is Martin Library, York PA. That may be a bit out of your way, so if you cannot no worries. Keep up the great work and good luck to you!
